Requirement Statement
This requirement applies to the IT assets within the College of Arts + Sciences.
The College of Arts + Sciences uses the IU Ready tool for departmental Business Continuity Planning (BCP). The College IT team will maintain the IT portion of the IU Ready BCP seperately from the unit-or-dept level and update it annually. Departments can then reference the College IT maintained plans for the IT portion of their departmental BCP. The IU Ready system documents how the College IT group units operate under normal conditions and contains detailed information about all networked IT assets including type, function, OS, mitigation controls, backups and administration information.
The goal of College IT business continuity plan is to enable mission critical IT functions of the College in the event of a disaster or crisis.
